On the left side, you will note a red navigational buoy. This will be well under water in the future (I think it actually rises a certain distance on a chain and is only visible if the water drops below a certain level). The residents of these homes should have been relocated long ago, but apparently some remain as evidenced by the fire. This area will be 30 meters under water once the river reaches full pool.
